Portsmouth Aviation Limited (PA) is pleased to announce the successful completion and delivery of another CBRN Building Protection system, which provides Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear protection for personnel in areas of risk. This system can also be supplied with X ray equipment and blast protection if required.
This unit is a follow on from previous contracts and continues to build on PA’s expertise within this area. PA is a leading supplier of CBRN equipment in support of the UK Resilience programme, particularly buildings and mail handling units.
PA is a key innovator within the Defence Community specialising in the design and manufacture of NBC Systems, airborne stores, support equipment and munitions environmental monitoring solutions. PA holds a range of MoD approved design responsibilities including the UK suite of Paveway guided weapons, aircraft bombs and ancillaries. Systems integration and support across Air, Sea and Land is an important element in our international portfolio. The Company has over 20 years experience in the design of NBC systems for defence and homeland security and is a significant stakeholder and supplier to the Royal Navy. PA employs 132 staff on it’s 7 acre site in Portsmouth.
